Rector’s House is a historic mansion, built in the 1940s in the centre of Moscow. Some time ago it used to be a manse of Volkonsky princes, while in late 18th century it was home to the flats of rector and professors of the Lomonosov Moscow State University.

In 2005, RD Group started complete reconstruction of the building: it restored the facade architecture of the 18th century and unique finishing details. When RD Group started the reconstruction of the Rector’s House, the building was almost completely ruined. Every brick was carefully restored and implemented into one of the building walls as a unique finishing detail.

RD Group treats the architectural heritage of the past with due care, therefore the reconstruction entailed all the necessary precautions and the use of modern technologies.

The premises of the Rector’s House are available for rent; the building’s structure envisages cabinet layout. Now, one of Sberbank offices is located there.
