The management company, general designer and general contractor is RD Group (part of RD Group). The project plans for Dilijan International School were developed by the British architect Tim Flynn. At present more than half of the construction work on the territory of the complex has been completed.
In late 2013 work will be wrapped up on the framework of the campus buildings and multifunctional center. In the main school building work is currently underway on the finishing, roof and façade. The territory of the school includes a parking lot, football field, and basketball and tennis courts.
Dilijan International School is a major philanthropic initiative with a budget of $135 million (before taxes) for the construction work alone. Beginning in 2014 the annual operating expenses of the school will total $3 million, growing to $12 million over the course of 10 years, with an estimated 60% of these funds being absorbed into the local economy of Dilijan.
