The newspaper Vedomosti reports that businessman Alexander Klyachin, founder of Azimut Hotels, plans to build two new hotels in downtown Moscow in addition to the chain’s existing hotels the Metropol and Renaissance. The construction of the two facilities on Kuznetsky Most and Zubovskaya Street will cost him more than $40 million.
On Kuznetsky Most that businessman plans to build a boutique hotel with approximately 90 rooms and on Zubovskaya Street – a business hotel with around 200 rooms. “Both sites are at good locations for a hotel and will be in high demand on the market,” the newspaper Vedomosti writes.
Apartments on Romanov Alley
According to experts, Moscow does not have enough high-quality business housing for expats and the top managers of companies whose offices are located within the Garden Ring. This is why RD Group, the developer of the class A Romanov Dvor office complex on Romanov Pereulok, has decided to invest in business-class apartments. This solution will help to improve the infrastructure of the business complex and to form a complete environment for the sophisticated business audience.
Top managers of major foreign companies working at Romanov Dvor will have the opportunity to live on the neighboring Romanov Alley in a familiar European atmosphere. The street-level floors of the buildings along the street will host cafes and restaurants. The first eatery is expected to open in November 2013 – the French coffee house and bakery Paul.
The investor in the Romanov Alley project is the Luxembourg-based Moscow Construction and Development. The general designer and general contractor is RD Group (part of RD Group).
