The Union of Moscow Architects, in partnership with RD Group, presents a series of tours to the Holding’s facilities. The program includes the visits to the Romanov Dvor business quarter, the IC “Skolkovo” and the Olympia Park business complex.
The first tour will take place on August 19 and will be dedicated to the Romanov Dvor business quarter. The facility is located in the historical center of Moscow, at the distance of 500 meters from Kremlin. Oleg Popov, author of the architectural design, director of the workshop “TS Megaron A”, and Aleksandr Ustinov, representative of the facility’s managing company, Director for Development of RD Management, will tell about the renovation of the business district.
In addition to upper-class offices, the business quarter hosts restaurants and cafes, business-class apartments, the World Class fitness club, the Romanov Cinema, etc. The advantage of the district is a landscaped inner courtyard and the pedestrian street Romanov Alley, where the city holds its events, exhibitions and master classes. In addition, the Romanov Dvor business center meets the modern requirements in the field of energy efficiency and is certified under the environmental standard BREEAM.
HISTORY OF ROMANOV DVOR
The project was conceived 20 years ago and implemented in several stages, according to the concept of the architectural bureau of Oleg Popov. The first phase of Romanov Dvor was commissioned in 1996, the second one, in 2004, the third one, in December 2014. All three buildings form the unique business and cultural environment. The project included not only construction of new buildings and reconstruction of the old ones, but also a comprehensive restauration of the famous church of the Icon of the Mother of God "The Sign" in the Sheremetiev yard.
ABOUT THE SERIES OF TOURS
The series of tours is known under the common name: “Know yourself!” and is organized by RD Group in collaboration with the Union of Moscow Architects and the Freedom of Access project. Within the framework of the program, specialists, members of the Moscow Union of Architects, will be able to get acquainted with the key real estate facilities at various stages of implementation, as well as to know at first-hand about the trends in development, specifics of “green” construction, urban spaces planning and many other issues.
