The leading retail property management company ECE Russland is to participate in the business programme at Arenda 2016, now in its eighth year. The event runs on 19-20 October in Moscow.
The business forum “The Mall in the City: How to Win the Competition for Shoppers and Tenants Today” opens on 19 October. The event brings together leading retail and retail property experts, including top managers from some of the biggest developers, retailers and international research agencies.
This year, the focus is mainly on a segmental analysis of a shopping center’s product mix. Market professionals will discuss the growth dynamics of different categories of shopping center tenants, which shopping center concepts are most successful today, why and how the food services segment is growing, who the leaders in the fashion segment are, which brands have arrived in Russia in the last year, and other pertinent market issues.
ECE Russland Managing Director Stefan Zeiselmaier will address a session entitled “Buying in a Mall: What Kind of Shopping Center Tenants Are Most Sought-After Today? How Are Modern Techniques Increasing the Conversion of Visitors to Buyers?” on the first day of the forum.
Mr Zeiselmaier will talk about establishing an effective pool of tenants for various shopping center formats, taking account of changes in the retail market and consumer purchasing power.
Representatives of Immofinanz Russia, Magazin Magazinov, Kiko Milano Russia, Rive Gauche and Initium will also take part in the discussion.
