UWC Dilijan College has become the winner of the European round of the International Property Awards, a prestigious contest in the field of real estate, in the Public Services Development category.
UWC Dilijan College has been recognized as the best in Europe in the Public Services Development category and has received 5 stars, the highest mark, from the expert jury. The project has been put forward to the final of the International Property Award, the winners of which will be announced in December 2015. The awarding ceremony took place on September 23, 2015.
The International Property Awards was established in 1995. Today it is one of the most reputable real estate awards in the world. The winners are determined in the following categories: Architecture, Interior Design, Development and Agents & Consultants, each of which is divided into sub-categories. The jury comprises renowned experts, who carefully assess not only the architecture of the projects, but also their compliance with the current requirements in the field of "green" construction, energy efficiency and sustainable development.
The architectural concept of UWC Dilijan College was developed by a British bureau Tim Flynn Architects, general designer and general contractor of the project was RD Group International Holding.
In 2015, UWC Dilijan College won several prestigious awards: the school was given IGRA Green Roof Leadership Award in the Trendsetting Architecture category and won the Russian round of the international competition FIABCI Prix d'Excellence in the Public Sector category. In addition, UWC Dilijan College is the only educational institution in the CIS certified according to the standards of “green” construction BREEAM.
