Moscow Urban Forum 2015 will be held in Moscow on October 16-17 and focused on city-planning projects and the capital development centers. The RD Group international holding acts as an official partner of this event.

Moscow Urban Forum is held under the auspices of the Government of Moscow and with personal participation of the Mayor, Sergey Sobyanin. The RD Group international holding acts as the official partner of the event for the first time.

Traditionally the forum will bring together the leading experts in the field of urbanistics from all around the world, representatives of the largest Russian companies, as well as authorities. In total, about 3500 delegates are going to visit the event.

This year the experts will discuss new capital projects and city development centers focusing on "Moscow as a dynamic megalopolis: practices of flexible management" business program. Two plenary sessions with participation of the Mayor of Moscow, Sergey Sobyanin, and 11 roundtable sessions and panel discussions will be held within the program.

NataliaTischendorf, the Managing Director of Romanov Property Holdings Fund, will speak at the "The Drivers of Polycentric City Model Development" session. Marat Khusnullin, the Deputy Mayor of Moscow, Yury Grigoryan, the head of “Meganom Project” Bureau, Lawrence Bart, a professor of urbanistics in postgraduate department of the School of Architectural Association in London, Vicente Guayart, the founder of the Institute of Advanced Architecture of Catalonia, Spain, and others will also take part in the discussion.

The participants of the session will discuss the following issues: How to create new polycentric structure of the city? How to retain balance between strategic tasks of the city and private needs of inhabitants? What models of project financing exist today? and others.

MOSCOW URBAN FORUM

Moscow Urban Forum has been initiated to provide assistance to development of the cities of Russia and the former Soviet Union and increase their competitiveness. The forum will give the possibility for discussion of the most relevant trends of modern urban planning, getting professional community acquainted with the latest technologies and the best world practices of development of urban environment.
