The real estate trade publication Salon Nedvizhimosti has come out with an article about a new international project of RD Group: the construction of Dilijan International School in Armenia which will open its doors for students in September 2014.
Some of the best companies and experts around the world have been invited to participate in the project. The architecture of Dilijan International School (DIS) was developed by the renowned British architect Tim Flynn, whose project is being brought to life by the international RD Group.
“As general designer of the project, RD Group has optimized the project documentation developed earlier and thus achieved substantial savings on capital expenditures and increased the facility’s usable space by 3000 square meters. In addition to the buildings of DIS, the company is creating from scratch engineering and road infrastructure on the territory of the school. A similarly structured construction management project of RD Group is being implemented in the center of Moscow, where in place of dilapidated buildings the pedestrian street Romanov Alley is being created,” the publication writes.
MODERN TECHNOLOGIES
“Today in the school’s construction cutting-edge materials and technologies are being employed which have never before been used in Armenia. The building of the school, which borders with Dilijan National Park, harmoniously fits in with the landscape thanks to the use of greenery on the roof and walls, reminding one of the alpine meadows for which Dilijan is famous,” Salon Nedvizhimosti writes.
Dilijan International School is a good example of how RD Group implements major projects across large distances. Today the company’s portfolio includes two other significant project’s located two thousand kilometers or more from the its headquarters in Moscow – the Arctic Hotel and Business Center in Murmansk and the elite residential complex Rose Valley in Luxembourg.
