The opening ceremony for the third phase of the Class A business center Romanov Dvor, located in the historic center of Moscow, was held on December 12, 2014. The international holding RD Group is the developer of the project.

The key participants of the official opening ceremony included: Marat Khusnullin, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Urban Development and Construction; Gagik Adibekyan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of RD Group; and businessman Ruben Vardanyan.

The third phase of the Romanov Dvor business center is a unique example of new construction which harmoniously blends into the existing architectural cityscape of Moscow’s center. This new building of 8,000 square meters is located 500 meters from walls of the Moscow Kremlin, and it marks the completion of the comprehensive development of Block 41, situated between Mokhovaya Street and Romanov Pereulok.

Marat Khusnullin, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Urban Development and Construction:“The new building of the Romanov Dvor complex creates a legacy for the city. RD Group rebuilt existing architectural monuments and integrated the modern business complex into the historical urban environment.”

Gagik Adibekyan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of RD Group: “Romanov Dvor is not simply a business center. It is a new public space for Moscow – a center of attraction for city residents and tourists, tenants of the business complex as well as students and everyone else who wants to take a break from the pace of big city life.”

The third phase of Romanov Dvor was built in compliance with the latest technical and engineering requirements and in accordance with BREEAM green building standards. One of the distinctive features of the building is the convergence of classical and modern architecture: the unique and fully restored historical façade on one side of the building and the panorama glazing on the other. After dark the building is illuminated with soft backlights which were developed taking into consideration the architectural features of the building.

The Romanov Dvor complex is part of Quarter 41, which apart from the office complex also includes business-class apartments, the pedestrian gastronomic street Romanov Alley and the Sheremetiev Courtyard.

The developer of the Romanov Dvor complex is the international holding RD Group. The architectural concept was created by Popov & Architects. Construction was carried out by RD Group (part of RD Group) and the facility management is provided by RD Management (also part of RD Group).
