UWC Dilijan College becomes finalist of FIABCI Prix d’Excellence

The UWC Dilijan College International School became a finalist of the FIABCI World Prix d’Excellence Awards 2016. The project developer is RD Group Holding Company.

UWC Dilijan College is among the top three implemented development projects in the Public Infrastructure category. The winner will be announced at the FIABCI World Prix d’Excellence Awards 2016 ceremony in Panama on 25 May.

The Public Infrastructure category projects will be assessed with regard to a few parameters, such as architecture, elaboration quality of the development project and project construction concept, use of energy-saving and environmental solutions and the project’s influence on the local infrastructure and the region as a whole.

The school’s architectural concept was developed by Tim Flynn Architects, UK. The project developer is the international holding company RD Group, the school was built by RD Group and the complex is managed by RD Management.

It will be recalled that in 2015, UWC Dilijan College won a few prestigious awards: the school received IGRA Green Roof Leadership Awards and European Property Awards, and won the Russian stage of FIABCI Prix d’Excellence. Besides, UWC Dilijan College is the CIS’s only educational institution certified to BREEAM green construction standards.

ABOUN THE CONTEST

FIABCI Prix d’Excellence was founded in 1992 and is now one of the most prestigious real estate contests.  It is held annually under the sponsorship of the International Real Estate Federation (FIABCI) and with the assistance of The Wall Street Journal. Winners are selected in 14 categories, including residential, sales, office, hotel and industrial real estate, social sector, master plan etc.
