Gagik Adibekyan at a conference at the Dilijan International School

On the 4th of September 2013, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of RD Group Gagik Adibekyan attended a conference, marking the beginning of the countdown to the opening of the Dilijan International School.

THE COUNTDOWN TO OPENING 

The Dilijan School is an international project of RD Group, unique for Armenia and all other former Soviet Republics. The construction of the project is conducted by RD Group (part of RD Group) with the support of the government of Armenia and President of Armenia. It is expected that in a year the school will start taking its first classes of talented young students from all over the world. On the 5th of September 2013 a celebratory ceremony of starting the countdown to the opening of the Dilijan International School will be held.

A PRESS CONFERENCE WITH CO-FOUNDERS 

On the 4th of September 2013 a press conference summarising the first stage results of the project took place in Yerevan. Its participants were co-founders of the school including the founder of the project Veronica Zonabend, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of RD Group Gagik Adibkyan and Russian businessman Vladimir Avetisyan. Participants exchanged views on the future of the Dilijan School and its social importance.

GAGIK ADIBEKYAN ON THE ROLE OF THE SCHOOL FOR ARMENIA

As the Chairman of the Board of Directors of RD Group Gagik Adibkyan noted at the conference, the Dilijan School will play a big role in the development of education in Armenia.

“The more successful the project is,the more supporters it will gain. After creation of the Dilijan School, Armenia will be able to “export” an education, which complies with international standards”, he noted in his speech. “Here everything will be at the very highest level – the system of teaching, and the quality of the complex of buildings. Our company will use its 20 years of experience in successfully realising complex projects across the world to build this school”.

Ideologist and co-founder of the Dilijan International School Veronica Zonabend – wife of the famous patron and businessman Ruben Vardanyan – agrees with Mr. Adibekyan: “Thanks to the active input of the local community, this project will have a significant influence on the development not only of Dilijan, but also of the region as a whole”.
