The news agency Interfax published a report on the event held at Romanov Dvor to review the results of MIPIM 2014 and make plans for next year.
On March 27 Romanov Dvor hosted a reception marking the official closing of the real estate expo MIPIM 2014. The organizers of this event were RD Group and Kommersant Publishing House with support from MIPIM.
As Interfax reports, the MIPIM closing ceremony was held for the second time at Romanov Dvor and has already become a tradition for the commercial real estate market. This year the event was attended by more than 300 people: the top executives of development and investment firms, experts in urban planning and municipal development, and representatives of the Moscow Municipal Government.
The event included a roundtable at which market experts summed up the results of MIPIM 2014 and discussed how to ensure the effectiveness of the participation of representatives of business and government at next year’s MIPIM.
Speakers at the roundtable included: Elizaveta Zyuzina, Director for International Projects for MAPIC, MIPIM and MIPIM Asia; Alexander Kolontai, Deputy Director of Genplan and a member of the jury for the MIPIM Awards; James Corrigan, Managing Director for Merchant Banking at Sberbank CIB; Valentina Stanovova, Senior Vice President of Capital Group; Sergei Tarkhanov, Deputy Director of the VTB Arena Park project; and, Ilya Baibus, Business Development Director for RD Group.
Ilya Baibus noted the great significance of MIPIM for Russian Developers as well as the need to hold meetings in Moscow to sum up the results the exhibition and plan for participation next year. “This is the reason why our company is acting as a partner with RD Group in holding the MIPIM closing ceremony at Romanov Dvor,” he explained.
