On June 28-29, CRE Summit 2017 was held. It was dedicated to the trends and prospects in the commercial real estate market. RD Group representatives took the floor as part of the business program of the event.
CRE Summit is an annual forum gathering over 200 leading representatives of the commercial real estate market of Moscow, St. Petersburg and of the regions. This year, the summit held under the motto “Let’s Talk Future” was dedicated to the future of all market segments.
Stefan Zeiselmaier, Managing Director, ECE Russland, partook in the session “Retail Property of the Future”. The expert spoke of the evolution of the market and shopping centers, where people now go both for shopping and for entertainment now.
“A successful shopping center should care both for the tenants and the customers. To improve the customer convenience, ECE is testing new technologies, such as Easy to Park application, providing the possibility of identifying the customer at the entrance to/ exit from the car park thanks to a special card. The best-performing technologies will be implemented in the projects under our management,” Stefan Zeiselmaier said.
Alexander Ustinov, CDO, RD Management, took the floor at the panel “Management of the Future: How the Management Companies’ Role Will Evolve in the Years to Come?” The expert spoke of the management companies’ ‘uberization’ prospects and the new customer approach.
“In the future, management companies and FM providers will evolve as vehicles providing the best-quality services to their customers. Market leaders will be the first to move in this direction, as they already use innovations in their business operations. Optimization of the owner’s cost has lost its relevance today: qualitative growth of services, big data, and decision-making speed are much more important now,” Alexander Ustinov said.
