On December 6 the business center Romanov Dvor hosted the official closing reception of the Moscow Urban Forum 2013. A photo report has been published on RD Group’s Facebook page.
The event was attended by Russian government officials and businessmen as well as representatives of leading business media.
The official reception was opened by Deputy Mayor for Urban Development and Construction Marat Khusnillin, Advisor to the Mayor of Moscow and Rector of the Moscow Business School Skolkovo Andrei Sharonov, and Moscow’s Chief Architect and Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Architecture and Urban Development Sergei Kuznetsov.
The reception also included a special presentation of the new edition of a book by the legendary Danish urban planner and architect Jan Gehl – Moscow: Towards a Great City for People. The book was published at the initiative of Moscow’s urban planning institute Genplan in partnership with RD Group. The book was personally presented by the author Jan Gehl, acting Director of Genplan Karima Nigmatulina and Head of RD Group’s Representative Office in Russia Roman Tkachenko.
