On June 4, the traditional meeting of leading experts in commercial real estate, organized by CRE, took place. Tatyana Khoreva, Deputy Head of RD Group Holding on Financial and Economic Affairs, came out at the event.
The market players discussed the changes in the law, the indexation of rental rates, as well as the overall real estate market at the round table.
Touching the legislative regulation, Tatyana said that now the companies are adapting to the changed conditions, in particular to the initiatives of de-offshoring and the law on controlled foreign companies, as a result large companies are busy with restructuring.
Business activity of players decreased also because already prepared transactions are difficult to close because of the new regulatory environment. Nevertheless, the market is optimistic, and after adapting, the number of real estate transactions will increase.
Discussing the indexation of rent, Tatyana Khoreva said that property owners started to widely use the individual approach to the rental rate. Owners of premises now better understand the business of tenants, which allows extremely accurate calculation of rates and indexation limits in private capacity.
