Closing ceremony of 6th Moscow Urban Forum took place in Romanov Dvor

For the fifth time, the official closing ceremony of the Moscow Urban Forum took place in Romanov Dvor Business Quarter on July 1. Deputy Mayor of Moscow Marat Khusnullin took part in the event.

The closing ceremony of the 6th Moscow Urban Forum – 2016 is a traditional rendezvous for the top public officials, managers, leading development, banking and consulting organizations, urban and town planning experts. Over 200 guests attended the event this year, including Deputy Mayor of Moscow Marat Khusnullin, Head of the Town-Planning Policy Department of the city of Moscow Sergey Levkin, Chairman of the Board of Directors of RD Group Holding Gagik Adibekyan, President of Vardanyan, Broitman & Partners Ruben Vardanyan, member of VTB Management Board Vladimir Verkhoshinsky and many others.

International guests also attended the reception in Romanov Dvor, including the first advisor of the Minister of Justice, Public Order and Transportation of Dusseldorf Berndt Tomas, Mayor of Tirana Veliaj Erion, British architect, UWC Dilijan College designer Tim Flynn, and others.

The official part of the closing ceremony took place in the court of the Business Quarter, where street photographer Dmitry Zverev’s solo exhibition “Ultramodern images of Moscow” was inaugurated on the occasion of the event. Each piece of the photographer was accompanied by infographics reflecting the city’s key achievements over the last 5 years.

In 2016, RD Group International Holding became official partner of the Moscow Urban Forum. Company experts – AVICA CEO Natalia Tishendorf and Chairman of RD Group Board of Directors Ilya Baybus took part in the Forum business program. This year, the Romanov Dvor Business Quarter also became one of the key venues of the Urban Festival.

The Moscow Urban Forum is co-sponsored by the Government of Moscow and provides a major discussion platform for the representatives of state and business structures, independent experts and urban specialists to discuss the issues of capital city development and to offer innovative methods for improving life in the city. Advanced technologies and megaprojects were among the key subjects of the Forum this year.
