Back

The business center Romanov Dvor in Moscow has become the first Russian building to be certified according to the updated BREEAM green building standards, the news agency Interfax reported, citing Igor Reunov, General Director of GeoEngine.

“Just recently the BREEAM standards were updated. Romanov Dvor became the first property to be certified by these new standards, which are specifically for certification of in-use buildings,” Igor Reunov was quoted by Interfax.

In turn, Alexander Ustinov, Office Real Estate Manager for RD Management, explained that the building received a “Very Good” score, which is the highest possible score on the BREEAM rating for Russian projects.

EVALUATION CRITERIA

Alexander Ustinov noted that the certification was carried out by BRE Global, which evaluated the property according to its management, energy efficiency, transport accessibility, environmental safety and much more. Approximately 10 million rubles were spent on fulfilling the recommendations for compliance with the standards, he said.

The Romanov Dvor business center belongs to RD Group. It was built by RD Group and is managed by RD Management (both part of RD Group).
