A LUMAS photography gallery has opened at the premium-class Vremena Goda shopping center on Kutuzovsky Prospekt in Moscow.
The new LUMAS gallery is situated on the third level of Vremena Goda. LUMAS is a modern art gallery which is focused not only on the exhibition of art work but also on the sale of photographs which have been produced in limited editions of 75 to 150 prints.
Roman Tkachenko, Head of the Representative Office of RD Group in Russia: “The strategy of RD Group is to raise the investment value of the holding’s assets. This strategy, in part, includes the optimization of the management of the Vremena Goda retail center and improvement of the tenant pool. We are pleased to welcome the LUMAS gallery to our shopping center. The development of the cultural and leisure elements increases the level of interest of visitors in the retail center and correspondingly increases the investment appeal of the property.”
Vremena Goda is an exclusive shopping center with more than 150 retail shops and a strong emphasis on the latest trends in fashion and entertainment.
The Vremena Gallery shopping center was acquired by Romanov Property Holdings Fund (RPHF) in 2012–2013. The investment fund RPHF was created on a parity basis in 2008 by RD Group and a consortium of private investors. Today the fund’s portfolio, in addition to Vremena Goda, includes the Class A business center Romanov Dvor, the premium-class shopping center Dream House and the OBI Borovskoye hypermarket. The assets of Romanov Property Holdings Fund are managed by AVICA Property Investors.
The LUMAS photography gallery chain was established in 2003 in Berlin and today it includes 34 galleries in 13 countries around the world, highlighting the works of more than 160 famous and emerging photographers. Now there are two LUMAS galleries in Moscow: at Vremena Goda and on Strastnoy Boulevard.
