Moscow’s Premium Apartment Market

Back

Mansard apartments are becoming increasingly popular in the Russian capital. According to a report on the internet portal 1rre.ru, approximately one-third of Moscow’s premium apartment complexes offer mansard apartments.

Mansard apartments can be found in both comfort-class properties and in the elite segment. However, the largest share is in the business class segment, which accounts for 53.3% of the total number of complexes with mansard apartments and 15% of the total market, the internet portal 1rre.ru reports.

APARTMENTS AT ROMANOV ALLEY

At the same time, the Moscow market is seeing high demand for business class apartments on the rental market in the city center. This is one of the reasons why the Romanov Alley pedestrian street project includes the construction of premium class mansard apartments to be offered for rent. The project investor is the Luxembourg company Moscow Construction and Development while the construction work is being carried out by RD Group (part of RD Group).

According to the investor’s concept, the alley will fully complement the infrastructure of the Romanov Dvor business center and will allow for the creation of the perfect environment for work and leisure for the sophisticated business community.

A PLACE FOR WORK AND LIFE

Top managers of major international companies working at Romanov Dvor will have the opportunity to live on the neighboring Romanov Alley in the European atmosphere to which they have grown accustomed. The ground-level premises of the buildings along the alley will host cafes and restaurants: it is expected that this spring the French bakery Paul will open there as will Dolmama, a restaurant offering Armenian and fusion cuisine.
