Romanov Dvor business quarter has been nominated for Best Office Awards 2017 in the category “Environment and Infrastructure of a business center or business district”.

The Romanov Dvor business quarter is made remarkable by its unique location in the historic center of Moscow, by its infrastructure and its architectural concept. But it also creates a new and exceptional public space.

The well-maintained square at the center of the complex is a green island surrounded by elegant facades, and has become the center of gravity for people working at local offices.  It provides an independent cultural environment,  with the 17th century Church of the Sign as the key landmark. The square includes an exhibition space with stands for photographic displays.

The space can be approached via a pedestrian street, where  people can meet, converse and take refreshment at the Café Paul and Dolmama restaurant.

In the warm months the RomanovRoof terrace is open to visitors on the roof of Stage III of the Romanov Dvor development. It offers  a seating area with views of the Kremlin and the historical city center and is used as a venue for lectures on architecture, urban planning, painting and art, as well as classical and jazz concerts.

“Romanov Dvor has developed from a single office building into a thriving business community with  a full range of services for work and recreation. Its infrastructure and public spaces mean that users can spend the whole day here, from early morning to late at night, in perfect comfort,” said Roman Tkachenko, head of the Russian division of RD Group.

Best Office Awards is a prestigious competition for office and public-space developments and for interior design, respected by leaders of the real estate community in Russia, the CIS and Eastern Europe.

The Best Office Awards ceremony will take place on 1 June 2017 in the Danilovsky Event Hall.
