Upon completion of the international certification process, the Romanov Dvor office complex received an “Excellent” score for the second section of BREEAM In-Use International standards. The operations of the facility management company RD Management (part of RD Group) received the highest marks on the market – 84%.

The certification was carried out by the international company EkoWATT CZ, which assessed the effectiveness of the work of the management company according to such parameters as building maintenance, consumption of core resources (energy, water) and environmental impact.

At the time of certification the office complex received the highest possible scores for many of the criteria. In 2013 Romanov Dvor was the first be certified in Russia with a score of “Very Good” according to the updated BREEAM In-Use standards for assets. This was the highest score that any Russian project had attained to date on BREEAM ratings.

The buildings have a waste separation system and bicycle parking rack. Energy audits are carried out and measures aimed at improving energy effectiveness are implemented on a regular basis. The Romanov Dvor business complex has an uninterrupted power supply, and the facility management operations include a building maintenance & administration (BMA) system and building management system (BMS).

“International certification has a positive impact on a property’s capitalization and provides an opportunity to align the interests of owners and international companies which adhere to ‘green standards’ in their offices,” notes Alexander Ustinov, Business Development Director for RD Management.
