The first international boarding school in the CIS – UWC Dilijan College – has opened its doors in Dilijan, Armenia. Today 96 students from 50 countries study at the college. They shared impressions of Armenia and studies at UWC Dilijan College with the television channel CivilNet TV.

The ideologues of this philanthropy project Ruben Vardanyan and Veronika Zonabend recruited more than 200 donors to fund the construction of the international school. Gagik Adibekyan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of RD Group, became one of the project’s partners and founders.

However, RD Group’s role was not limited to that of a patron and general contractor. Today the facility management company RD Management (part of RD Group) is responsible for the uninterrupted functioning of the engineering systems and infrastructure of UWC Dilijan College.

Gagik Adibekyan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of RD Group:

“The boarding school UWC Dilijan College is situated in the mountains of Armenia on the boundary of Dilijan National Park. Taking into consideration the standards of UWC and the environmental requirements, world-class companies, technologies and experts were engaged in the project planning. We take pride in the fact that we were trusted with the construction of the school. I think that this became possible thanks to the fact that over the course of nearly 20 years RD Group has proven itself to be a reliable partner, implementing major projects in Moscow, Luxembourg and several regions of Russia.”
